An excellent opportunity exists for enthusiastic and committed Food and Beverage Café Attendants. We are looking for individuals who possess and believe in high levels of great customer service, who is self-motivated and works well under pressure, a candidate who can multi task and communicates well with other team members and customers.

The Role:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Café Attendant to join our team. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in food and beverage service and is looking for flexible casual hours.

You will be responsible for taking and preparing customer orders, making juices, assisting with basic food and beverage service, and providing excellent customer service. Coffee knowledge is preferred but not essential, and basic alcohol service knowledge is also preferred.

This position will start at approximately 10–15 hours per week, with additional hours available for the right person.

Flexibility across a 7-day roster is essential, along with a strong work ethic and commitment to the role.

As part of the role, you will also help maintain high standards of cleanliness by tidying work areas, clearing and cleaning tables, and supporting the team where required.

Essential Criteria:

• Experienced Barista;
• Minimum 1 year of food and beverage experience required;
• Current RSA certificate required;
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices;
• Exceptional food service skills;
• Available to work early mornings, late nights and weekends;
• Takes impeccable pride in their appearance and personal hygiene;
• Adheres to exceptional service standards; and
• Holds a clear understanding of both written & spoken English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare coffee, drink and food orders;
• Operate the café till and handle money;
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment;
• Stock for daily business and maintain stock levels;
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment;
• Well organised and able to multitask;
• Reliable, flexible, and committed; and 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
