Next Gen’s Finance Team is centrally located in Adelaide and we're looking for an Accounts Payable Officer. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a pivotal Team Member in assisting the business with its administrative and reporting requirements. 

About the Role

Key areas of responsibility:

• Accounts payable data processing functions
• Preparation of supplier payments &  expense claims
• Reconcile AP ledgers, such as supplier statements, GRNI, and clearing accounts
• Systems maintenance to ensure accuracy of records and database integrity
• Financial administrative and general clerical support duties as required

About You

The successful applicant will:

• Display a high level of data entry speed and accuracy
• Pride themselves on their attention to detail and accuracy to continue accurate record management
• Possess a minimum level of Certificate IV in Account, Finance or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including supervisory experience
• Be proficient in business related mathematical principles and practices
• Have a sound level of computer literacy, at the core of which will be a competent knowledge of accounting software packages and the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel
• Have the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet required deadlines
• Possess a positive attitude with a team-orientated ethos.
