About the Role Are you a friendly and sales focused customer service agent? As the first point of contact for new member inquiries to join one of our amazing facilities, the successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and be great at building rapport over the telephone. This position is essential to the success of our overall group sales targets and strategies. You will need to understand and keep up to date with all our Clubs and their individual offerings at any given time. You must have at least 2 years experience within a phone sales environment and be adaptable, flexible and a great listener in order to be able to ensure you tailor an appointment for the customer based on what they are looking for. This role is based in our Central Support Services Team (Head Office) and will report to our Central Sales Manager. You will be part of a small team and be booking appointments for our 6 clubs across Australia & New Zealand. The Successful Applicant must be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years experience within telephone sales environment
- Having a courteous and friendly manner
- An interest in the health and fitness industry
- Being a vibrant and outgoing individual
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- A personal drive to meet and exceed sales targets;
- Highly developed customer relations skills;
- The ability to master required software applications;
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
- The ability to build rapport with members and internal staff; and
- A calm and friendly disposition, while working under pressure.
