Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs is a premium, fast-growing Health, Racquets & Lifestyle business with operations across Adelaide, Sydney, Canberra, Perth and Auckland. Our iconic Auckland Domain Club is currently seeking a passionate and commercially minded Junior Tennis Manager to lead and elevate the delivery of our newly branded Next Gen Tennis Program — an exciting opportunity to shape the future of junior tennis participation at one of Auckland’s most prestigious and top-tier tennis destinations. About the Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day coordination, quality and growth of the Next Gen Tennis Program. This is an exciting leadership role with the unique opportunity to drive the expansion and success of junior tennis in one of Auckland’s best tennis centres, known for premium facilities, a vibrant tennis community, and a strong reputation in racquets excellence. You will be empowered with autonomy, backed by a collaborative leadership team, and positioned to make a significant impact on junior development, family engagement, and long-term member retention. This position is approximately 24 hours per week, comprised of: - 14 hours on-court delivery, and
- 10 hours off-court for program management, planning and administration.
Key Responsibilities As the Junior Tennis Manager, you will coordinate, deliver and champion the full suite of programs within the Next Gen Tennis Program, ensuring operational excellence, coach alignment and exceptional member experiences. You will play a key role in growing junior participation at a leading Auckland tennis venue, expanding pathways, and creating memorable sporting experiences for young players and their families. Next Gen Tennis – Program Delivery - Oversee and grow all Kid’s Tennis Academy pathways (Blue–Green ball)
- Coordinate Full Court Group Coaching across the program
- Manage Tennis Workout sessions for members
- Support and schedule Private 1:1 Coaching
- Support Coaching pathways and performance streams
- Oversee Tennis Camps and holiday programs
- Liaise with Tennis Auckland regarding group court usage and scheduling
Engagement, Promotion & Growth - Drive new member engagement through collaboration with the Sales team and Tennis @ POS
- Promote the Next Gen Tennis across all channels (in-club, digital, partnerships)
- Enhance member engagement through high-quality coaching, structured pathways and strong community culture
- Build strong relationships with parents, schools, partners and key stakeholders
- Lead the growth of junior tennis participation in a high-profile, top-tier Auckland tennis centre
- Drive participation and secondary spend through effective communication and proactive scheduling
- Strengthen the Tennis identity within the wider Next Gen product ecosystem
Commercial & Operational Excellence - Ensure high standards across coaching delivery, courts, equipment and overall presentation
- Work within allocated budgets while driving growth, profitability and retention outcomes
- Deliver all business-agreed participation and occupancy targets while maintaining a best-in-class Tennis Academy program
- Build a positive, motivated coaching team culture within the Academy
- Maintain strong operational processes and program consistency
About You You’re passionate about delivering world-class tennis experiences and understand the commercial drivers behind a thriving racquets program. You bring: - Demonstrated coaching or tennis program leadership experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A passion for high standards, member experience and performance development
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a positive team environment
- A proven ability—or strong drive—to meet participation and occupancy targets while delivering a best-in-class program
